$1000
1 girl goes to college
In 2019, men overrepresented women in all public universities in Ghana. Granting just one girl access to higher education not only upsets this imbalance, it propels one girl in the direction of her dreams.
$500
1 girl gets a laptop for college.
Sometimes supplies are all that stand between a girl and a good grade. Help us make sure that nothing stands in the way of our girls and their limitless potential.
$250
1 girl goes to junior high
Though qualified and capable, sometimes girls in need cannot contend in middle school due to poverty. By providing money for supplies, you allow one girl to lean into her potential, breaking the cycle of poverty for herself and generations to come.
$150
1 elementary school girl’s fees & supplies covered.
No family should have to choose between food and elementary school for their young child. Help us lessen the burden for Ghana’s families by removing this barrier to education.

Governance Board
WomensTrust is governed by a U.S. Board and a Ghana Board. Working collaboratively, these Boards set strategy and oversee the operation of our programs, with the U.S. Board taking primary responsibility for fundraising and the Ghana Board providing local expertise and oversight. Board members come from diverse backgrounds including academia, law, marketing, fundraising and international development. They share a passion for equipping women and girls.
Junior Board
A movement is only as sustainable as its youth involvement is strong. WomensTrust believes we must include contributions from and the voices of young adults and youth and so our junior board is comprised of advocates and youth ambassadors passionate about the education of women and girls.
