What We do
Trust Scholars Program
The Trust Scholar Program supports academically promising girls from underserved communities with scholarships, mentorship, and holistic care. By removing financial and social barriers to education, WomensTrust empowers girls to stay in school, excel, and pursue careers once thought impossible. Trust Scholars receive comprehensive support that may include school fees, learning materials, uniforms, laptops, mentorship, and health interventions - ensuring that girls are not only enrolled in school, but are supported to thrive academically and personally.
Limitless Tech Enrichment Program (Afterschool Program)
The Limitless Tech Enrichment Program equips girls with essential digital skills, confidence, and exposure to technology-driven career pathways, helping them bridge the digital divide and unlock new opportunities.
To further ensure their success, Trust Scholars receive tutoring and support in Mathematics and English. In a community where many girls lack access to computers, this program removes barriers to academic and professional success, giving scholars the edge to excel on nationwide high school exams, unlocking their limitless potential
Akwannya Program (Adult Literacy)
The Akwannya Program is an initiative for adult literacy and lifelong learning, designed to empower women who missed out on formal education and support them in gaining the knowledge and skills they need to thrive personally, professionally, and socially. Upon completion of adult literacy classes, the women are invited to join our vocational training program in which they learn marketable, profitable skills, such as beadmaking and liquid soap production. The sale of items produced through this training increases women's earnings and moves them toward financial stability and independence.
Healthy Ɔhemmaa Program
Access to health education and healthcare is essential for reducing poverty and improving the quality of life. The Healthy ɔhemmaa (translated: Healthy Queen) Program bridges the gap for women in underserved communities by bringing vital health resources directly to those who need them most.
Through Healthy ɔhemmaa, WomensTrust organizes health and wellness clinics that provide education, screenings, and preventive care for women and their families. By equipping participants with knowledge and tools for healthy living, the program empowers women to take control of their well-being and build stronger, healthier communities.
