Empowering women and girls in Ghana through education, access to healthcare and economic development
Women and girls in Ghana are held back at every level of society.
Primary school drop out and illiteracy rates are much higher for girls due to community and familial pressures, improper sanitation at schools, and lack of funds. WomensTrust provides scholarships to girls from primary to tertiary education, as well as providing them with the resources they need to excel while there. By keeping women and girls healthy, educated and provided with the tools they need for success, we are changing their communities for decades to come.
